When Corporate, Commercial and Advertising photography is the brief

Updated: 1 day ago

Earlier this year I was commisioned to take photos for Cash Converters Australia. The brief was to work within the flagship store at Bondi Junction to capture images and content for their marketing materials both online for customers and B to B investors.

The first challenge was to find the appropriate talent as Cash Converters required people shots of 'customers and staff' interacting. After scouring the internet, model websites and facebook I found some great models that fit the brief.

Day 1 was taking photos in the store to capture the luxury offering of Bondi Junction and appeal to the overall direction of Cash Converters becoming a higher end shopfront.

Day 2 was more about capturing the products which I did by 'bringing the studio' to the store and setting up consitent lighting for their products.

The final part was to capture the store itself, which was also tricky given the angle of the aisles. I had to stitch together some images to create this. Overall it was a challenging but rewarding shoot and the client was very happy with the results.
